The Retry interval indicates the number of ticks (1/60th of a second) between AppleTalk Name Binding Protocol (NBP) lookup packets. Increase this value to accomodate network objects that have to respond over long distances or slow network links.
The Retry count indicates how many times AppleTalk NBP lookup packets will be sent. If you have many AppleTalk services registered within a particular zone, increase this value so that more requests are made and more services are likely to respond.
The Search query timeout is how long LANsurveyor will wait for responses from network objects when querying or searching your network. Increase this value for network objects that are many hops away as they may not respond in time.
